Crown Jewels at the Smithsonian Institute

Art work by Terry Morin was featured on the cover of the June issue of Crown Jewels. Workers at the Smithsonian Institute liked the art so much, they incorporated the June issue into their insulator display (below). It seems Quincy, the insulator-hugging opossum shown on June's back cover with a CD 151 NATCO in peacock blue, has become a favorite character for both collectors and non-collectors alike.

Terry's artwork was part of a profile of insulator collector Joe Egerer. Joe wrote (see envelope below) that several collectors called in response to the article, and that some had even stopped by to visit his own insulator museum.
